Desert stone paver walk

Location: Bend Oregon

This area had been largely forgotten and was filled with small rocks and weeds. We wanted to improve the aesthetic of this side of the house and turn it into a maintenance-free area. To prep the area I first removed rocks and green debris from the area. I then laid down a weed fabric to protect it. Next, I put down a thin layer of base material for the pavers to sit flat on. Using a string guide and a level, I laid out the full course of pavers. Finally, I brought in about 3 yards of aspen gravel to surround the pavers and fill in the rest of the space.
